HOW TO USE IT?

This service is for confident decision-makers who need expert input and are ready to implement. Our clients often use this time to:

  • We can help with furniture layouts, and furniture selection. Typically, we can design 1-2 rooms in a session.

  • Get professional input on kitchen or bathroom materials, tiles, and more.

  • You need guidance at your local Kitchen & Bath store to choose kitchen counters, backsplashes, flooring and cabinet elements? we got you.

  • Color selection for the whole house.

  • Review or develop floor plans for remodeling or new builds to ensure efficient use of space.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

BEFORE YOU BOOK

  • Send your inquiry form using the contact or inquire button.

  • You’ll receive a link to schedule a complimentary 30-minute call where we’ll discuss your needs, desires, vision, and investment for your spaces.

  • Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll send you a service agreement. A 100% upfront payment is required to secure your Design For A Day session.

AFTER YOU BOOK

  • We spend 6 hours together solving your design challenges, and we’ll break for a 30-minute lunch.

  • You’ll get two 30-minute follow-up calls within 4 weeks to address any outstanding questions.

FAQS

  • The amount of work that can carried out will depend on the complexity of your project and your specific needs. We'll prioritize your goals but how fast you make decisions and how comfortable you are in trusting an expert by your side plays a crucial role in getting a substantial amount of work done.

    • Gather Your Inspiration: Be ready to share all your inspiration with me—whether it’s Pinterest boards, Instagram saves, favorite places, or anything that sparks your creativity. This helps me understand your style and preferences.

    • Have Floor Plans or Measurements Ready: If you have existing floor plans, please gather them. If not, take a moment to measure the space beforehand so we can avoid spending valuable time measuring during our design day. This gives us a great head start!

    • Discuss Your Budget: Before our session, have a conversation with everyone involved (ideally just you and your partner) about your budget. You don’t need an exact number, but having a general idea will help guide our decisions.

    • Be Present and Ready: Make sure anyone who needs to be part of the design decision-making is available during the session. That way, we can move forward confidently and get more done!

  • Yes, with at least 2 hours’ notice. We can also break your session into two shorter sessions if needed. Missed appointments without prior notice will forfeit the session and payment.

  • We’re happy to discuss extending the service at an additional hourly rate. This can be scheduled for a different day to ensure you meet your design goals.

  • Absolutely! Our Design For A Day service makes a thoughtful gift. We can even provide a beautifully designed gift certificate. Contact us for details.

  • Yes, we offer virtual sessions, allowing you to receive guidance no matter your location.
