Hi, I am Priyanka!

Let's peel back the layers and get to know each other a little better, shall we?

Growing up, I always gravitated toward art and design, so pursuing a career in interior design was a natural choice. My path as an immigrant has added even more depth to my journey, giving me the chance to experience different cultures, environments, and design aesthetics. These influences inspire my work, allowing me to blend unique perspectives and creativity into every project.

Currently, I’m running my growing design firm from my home studio in San Jose and continually seeking new ways to increase Priyanka Design Co.’s impact in helping others find joy and fulfillment in their spaces. I LOVE what I do and who I get to do it for.

With 9 years of formal design education (yes. this number is correct) and 5 years of experience in professional world. I am passionate about creating spaces that are timeless and functional. I love playing with earthy palettes, rich textures, and bold patterns, always ensuring that every space is deeply layered with materials that feel organic and inviting.

I am more than just a designer— I am your partner in every step of the journey. I understand how overwhelming home building or renovation can be, and I am here to take the weight off your shoulders. Acting as your advocate, I’ll guide you through each decision, ensuring the process is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. My approach is rooted in clear communication, humility, and teamwork, both with my clients and the build team.

  • Anywhere that has a rich history and vibrant culture is an amazing place for design inspiration. I’m especially drawn to India, with its bold colors and intricate craftsmanship, and Europe, where centuries of architecture and art offer endless ideas. Whether it’s exploring the palaces of Rajasthan or wandering through Venetian streets, I love finding stories in every corner.

  • I’d probably be a fashion designer or a fine artist—I love playing with colors, textures, and patterns in any form! Or, I might just open a cozy vegan café where I could combine my love for good food and beautiful spaces. And if I didn’t have to pay the bills, I’d be rescuing animals or helping kids improve their lives. Either way, I’d be doing something creative and meaningful!

  • When searching for an interior designer, choose someone whose style aligns with your vision and whose personality feels like a good match. Beyond aesthetics, find a designer who is highly organized—there are countless details to manage, track, and clarify throughout the process.     • My design superpower? Finding the perfect balance between proportions and composition.

    • Board games collector: Covid revived my childhood hobby, and now I’ve got a solid collection. I love a good game night!

    • Organizer at heart: I’m obsessed with planning—Excel sheets, lists, the whole deal! I get anxious without a plan for important things, but for everything else, I can be totally spontaneous.
